Lotus 63

Hi Carel

I have lost a couple of months due to illness but started to work on the master patterns again this week. Final detail on suspension, dash and exhausts to complete before first test build. This one is taking a long time !

I had a joker 1/24 kit but I sold it on ebay .it was avery rare kit maybe only one or two around .I am also making a Type 63 1/43 at present for a company .I just make the body patterns .The 1/20 master looks great .on my list of buys  already

The Lotus 63 sound interesting. As Jo Bonnier drove it I have been looking into the possibility to build one. Now I might not need to continue.

I have made master patterns in the past for 1/43 F1 and Speed record vehicles. The 1/20 kits will be kerbside initially, though full detail may follow later if there is sufficient interest

After an absence of 15 years i have been persuaded to make a very limited number of resin  kits in 1/20 scale of the Lotus 63 4wd. The masters are quite well advanced and completion is expected in qtr 3 this year. The  model will be followed by the Lotus 12 , 16 and 18 over the next 18 months or so. photos of early prototype are attached which features the 7 and 8 tread tyres and uniques reverse dish wheels with knock offs.

Yes I'm familiar with the car just have 1/12 on the brain not 1/24! Could have gone either way!

There was, I believe, a 1/24 brass kit but I've no idea who made it.

Sure you are not thinking of the Bandai Type 33?
